Valve Calibration Services
Valve Calibration Services is very important especially at dropper pipe PRV (Pressure Reducing Valve) to avoid high pressure at the dropper pipe causing pipe failure.
We provide valve calibration works for PRV, Pressure Relief Valve, Modulating Float Valve, Altitude Valve, etc.
Modulating Float Valve
Modulating Float Valve is use to maintain a constant water level in a water storage tank. It can be installed to control the flow into or out of the water tank by either closing on a rising level or opening on a rising level. This valve is a hydraulically operated, pilot controlled diaphragm valve.
Foot valves can be found in ponds, pools and almost anywhere there is a pump. These special valves allow the pump to stay primed, letting liquid to flow in, but keeping it from flowing back out.
Foot valves are an inexpensive way to prime a single centrifugal pump. Foot Valves are continually submerged in the wet well and not readily accessible for inspection or repair. Only professionals and experts have the “know how” valve calibration knowledge in inspection, repairing and maintenance of foot valve.
The most common use of a float valve is to control the filling of water in the water tank. Float valve is perfect for direct tank wall installation and is easy adjustable angle for liquid level control. At Summerland Water Tank Sdn Bhd we also assist to repair & replace float valve.
Gate valves are used to shut off the flow of liquids rather than for flow regulation. Gate valves are mostly used with larger pipe diameters since they are less complex to construct than other types of valves in large sizes. As a specialist in valve calibration, we can help to solve any issues arise from your water system’s gate valve.
A check valve is a valve that normally allows fluid to flow through it in only one direction. There are various types of check valves used in a wide variety of applications.
An important concept in check valves is the cracking pressure which is the minimum differential upstream pressure between inlet and outlet at which the valve will operate. Typically the check valve is designed for and can therefore be specified for a specific cracking pressure.
Pressure Relieve Valve (PRV)
A relief valve or pressure relief valve (PRV) is a type of safety valve used to control or limit the pressure in a system; pressure might otherwise build up and create a process upset, instrument or equipment failure. So, it is important to make sure you PRV system is functioning and in good conditions. At Summerland Water Tank Sdn Bhd we help to inspect, repair and maintain your PRV.
A butterfly valve is a valve that isolates or regulates the flow of a fluid. The closing mechanism is a disk that rotates. Operation is similar to that of a ball valve, which allows for quick shut off. Butterfly valves are generally favored because they cost less than other valve designs, and are lighter weight so they need less support.
